Saudi Major General Falah Al-Shahrani, Advisor to the Joint Forces held a meeting in Aden on Tuesday with military and security officials to stress the coalition’s firm position on the necessity of the “withdrawal of all military forces and armed manifestations from the city of Aden,”.
Regarding the security of Aden International Airport’s security he reiterates the need to preserve the airport’s civilian character to ensure the continuity of services to the public away from military tensions.
He said: “We stress the importance of maintaining the civilian nature of Aden Airport, which serves the people, and the importance of the withdrawal of all military forces and armed manifestations from the city of Aden”.
The Saudi military advisor concluded his remarks by stressing the continuation of the war on terrorism, affirming that the coalition will continue to support all forces confronting terrorist organizations and working to secure the governorates.
He also called on citizens to enhance awareness during this “sensitive phase” of Yemen’s history, noting that the success of security and development plans largely depends on community cooperation and its understanding of the importance of the stage, to ensure a future marked by stability and prosperity.
