Government Forces Conduct 181 Operations Against Houthi Militias in 24 Hours

Government forces have announced the execution of 181 military operations over the past 24 hours, targeting Houthi militia positions and threat sources across several active fronts. The operations utilized drones, artillery, and rocket launchers.

According to Colonel Majeed Al-Nazeely, the official spokesperson for the armed forces, these operations resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Houthi combatants. Additionally, several military vehicles, equipment, and weapons caches were destroyed, as stated in a press release.

Al-Nazeely elaborated that the operations concentrated on military sites and firing positions along the lines of contact, encompassing sectors in Taiz, Murais, Hareeb, Bayhan, Hodeidah, Abyan, and Al-Dhale. He noted that direct hits were achieved on several designated targets.

He affirmed the government forces' readiness and operational capability to counter and neutralize threat sources, in accordance with field conditions and directives from military leadership. The participating units, he stated, executed their missions while adhering to rules of engagement and international humanitarian law.

The military spokesperson indicated that these operations were a response to repeated Houthi attacks targeting civilians, economic facilities, and ports, in addition to government force positions.

The government forces urged citizens to stay clear of Houthi militia locations and gatherings and to refrain from joining their ranks, warning against the group's use of civilians in its military activities. Al-Nazeely reiterated the continuation of heightened readiness to address field developments, emphasizing that the forces will persist in their operations to protect the population, state interests, sovereignty, and security.
