Air and Artillery Strikes Target Houthi Reinforcements in Al-Dhale

Air and artillery strikes on Wednesday targeted Houthi militia reinforcements as they gathered near Al-Fakhir market in the western Qatabah district, north of Al-Dhale province, resulting in casualties among the group.

A field source reported that joint government forces' artillery and drones struck Houthi positions and gatherings in the area. These strikes coincided with movements by the group intended to launch an assault on government positions along the front lines.

The source indicated that the bombardment hit Houthi reinforcements that had recently arrived in the region, though specific figures for human and material losses were not immediately available.

The northern Al-Dhale fronts have been experiencing continuous escalation, with the Houthi militia persistently dispatching fighters, vehicles, and military reinforcements from Ibb and Dhamar governorates towards the engagement lines.

These troop movements are occurring concurrently with repeated Houthi attempts to attack government positions in Al-Dhale, efforts that have reportedly failed to achieve their objectives, according to field sources.
