Preemptive Operation Foils Major Houthi Attack in Hodeidah

The Yemeni National Resistance said early on Saturday that it had struck Houthi command and control centers, fortifications and gatherings south of Hodeidah, in response to what it described as an escalation by the Iran-backed group on the fronts in Marib and Hadramout and against maritime traffic in Yemeni territorial waters off the coast of Mokha.

The National Resistance's military media said it had monitored what it described as military targets and intensified Houthi movements in several areas near the front lines in the Hodeidah axis.

It said National Resistance artillery carried out concentrated strikes against the identified targets, claiming direct hits on command and control centers, fortifications and gatherings, and inflicting human and material losses on the Houthis
