Fighting has reignited on multiple fronts in Yemen's Taiz Governorate, with government forces engaging Houthi militias and conducting artillery strikes against militia positions, according to military sources.

Sources indicated that government artillery targeted Houthi positions in the Al-Dabab and Ghorab fronts, west of Taiz city, and the Al-Salu front in the south of the governorate. Strikes were also reported in the Muqbanah front in the western countryside, a response to earlier Houthi shelling of government army locations.

Furthermore, air defense units intercepted drone aircraft belonging to the Houthi militias in the Muqbanah front. Tensions and clashes persist across various combat axes within the governorate.

In a related development, reconnaissance teams reported observing the Houthi militia launching missiles from Jabal Oman in the Al-Hubah region, east of Taiz city, towards the Red Sea.

These developments underscore the ongoing military tension in the Taiz fronts, characterized by reciprocal shelling and repeated Houthi attempts to target government positions using drones and missiles.
