Houthi Militiamen Storm Hospital, Abduct Five Injured Tribesmen in Saada

Houthi militiamen forcibly entered a hospital in Yemen's northern Saada province and abducted five members of the Dhu Mohammed tribes who were receiving treatment for injuries sustained in tribal clashes, according to tribal sources.

Sources reported that Houthi elements raided hospital wards, assaulted the injured, and then forcibly removed them to an undisclosed location, despite their critical medical conditions and need for ongoing care.

The abducted individuals were reportedly injured during confrontations that erupted last week between the Al Jazeelan and Al Abis tribes, leading to armed tensions in the region.

The Dhu Mohammed tribes have placed full responsibility on the Houthi group for the safety of the abducted individuals, demanding their immediate release. They condemned the storming of a medical facility and the abduction of patients as a violation of tribal customs and humanitarian values.

The tribes issued a warning to Houthi leaders in Saada and Jawf provinces, including Al-Hamzi, Abu Hassan Shamma, and Faisal bin Haider, against harming the abductees or endangering their lives. They demanded the return of the injured to their families and accountability for those responsible for the hospital raid and detention.
