A civilian sustained severe injuries today when Houthi militia forces shelled the Al-Zubairiyat market in the Qatabah district, located in the northern governorate of Al-Dalea. Local sources reported that mortar shells landed in the Al-Zubairiyat market, resulting in the injury of citizen Mohammed Jama'i Shakhb. He sustained shrapnel wounds near his upper chest and was transported to a medical facility for treatment. His health condition has been described as critical. The sources further indicated that the injured individual is the sole provider for his family, which includes his father who has a disability. As of now, there is no confirmed information regarding additional casualties or further damage resulting from the shelling. The Al-Zubairiyat area is situated near the front lines separating government forces from Houthi militia. This location periodically experiences reciprocal shelling, which has led to civilian casualties and damage to public and private property in previous years. |
