Yemen: Attacks Persist at General People's Congress Headquarters in Taiz

Sources have revealed the recurrence of aggressions targeting the General People's Congress headquarters in Taiz Governorate, despite prior calls for their cessation.

An informed source stated that individuals responsible for these aggressions are continuing to pour concrete, erect columns, and transport construction materials through the headquarters' main entrance.

The source further indicated that these construction activities remain ongoing, characterizing them as an encroachment upon the General People's Congress premises. The source urged immediate action to halt what was described as "transgressions" and to secure the headquarters.

The source appealed to the leadership and members of the General People's Congress to follow up on the matter and intervene to stop the construction work. Additionally, a plea was made to the local authority in Taiz Governorate to swiftly step in, implement necessary measures to halt the ongoing activities, protect the headquarters, and prevent any unauthorized alterations within its premises.
