A seven-year-old girl was injured by a Houthi sniper in the Al-Mufannah district, west of Taiz Governorate, on Wednesday. This incident adds to a series of violations targeting civilians in areas near front lines. Local sources reported that the child, Du'a Fouad Abdo Saleh Salem, a resident of Al-Tuwayr village, sustained a gunshot wound to her shoulder from a Houthi sniper. She was subsequently transported to a medical center for treatment. The Houthi militia continues to commit frequent violations against civilians in the Al-Mufannah district. These acts include sniping and direct targeting of residents, as well as planting landmines, displacing families, and imposing restrictions on their movement in several villages. |
