Seihout Youth Club Team Stranded in Sana'a, Appeals for Urgent Financial Aid

The delegation of Seihout Youth Club has issued an urgent appeal to official and sports authorities after their return from Sana'a was obstructed due to complete financial inability to secure travel requirements back to Al Mahra.

The delegation, in a humanitarian and sporting plea, stated that they are unable to return due to the lack of necessary financial liquidity to cover transportation costs and remaining operational obligations. They highlighted that their continued stay in Sana'a without an operational budget places the players, technical staff, and administrative personnel in a difficult situation unbecoming of the club's stature and Yemeni sports.

The delegation clarified that the urgently required amount totals 10,000 Saudi Riyals. This includes 6,700 Saudi Riyals in outstanding dues to the transportation company for securing the return bus, and 3,300 Saudi Riyals to cover essential food and accommodation costs for the players and administrators during the approximately two-day journey back.

The delegation appealed to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Yemen Football Association, the Governor of Al Mahra, the local authority, and all supporting entities for swift intervention and directives to disburse the required sum. This is to ensure the safe return of the players to their families and to end their suffering as soon as possible.

The Seihout Youth Club delegation emphasized that this appeal stems from national and sporting responsibility, and a commitment to the safety of the players and the preservation of the image of Yemeni sports. They expressed hope for an immediate response that reflects the care for sporting cadres in the country.
