Two young siblings were successfully rescued on Friday after being trapped for two days inside an abandoned well in the city of Taiz, following their mysterious disappearance. Local sources confirmed that the children, Ammar Bashir Ali Ahmed and his brother Imran Bashir Ali Ahmed, went missing Wednesday evening after leaving their residence in the Ammar bin Yasser neighborhood. This prompted residents to launch an extensive search operation across the adjacent districts. The sources further detailed that community members located the pair inside an unused well within the same neighborhood approximately 48 hours after they were reported missing. They were subsequently extracted and brought to safety. Authorities confirmed that the general health condition of both children is stable, although one sustained minor contusions as a result of the fall. Both received immediate first aid following their successful extrication. |
