Aden Authorities Destroy 300 Tons of Substandard Clinker Under Judicial Order

The Public Prosecution Office for Industry and Trade in Aden announced on Sunday the destruction of 300 tons of clinker material, used in cement production, following confirmation that it was rendered unusable due to water damage from rainfall.

The prosecution specified that the destruction operation was executed at the Free Zone landfill in the Al-Mansoura district. This action was carried out in direct compliance with a judicial decree, reflecting ongoing efforts to safeguard consumer interests and bolster oversight of goods and materials entering local markets.

Authorities confirmed that these decisive measures are part of a concerted strategy by relevant bodies to prevent the circulation of compromised materials, uphold public safety standards, and ensure strict adherence to established legal specifications for construction inputs.
